Early Cannondales used them on the chainstay for the RD loop. I'm not sure if they were AL or plastic but they were attached to the stay with a pop rivet. Is there anything cheap and available out there to replace it, even if not original looking?

thank

There are clampon cable stops but for old skol bikes and I doubt it's big enough to fit around the C-Dales RH chain stay..Short of finding a replacement and riveting it on there..you 'could' run full length housing to the rear der..Kinda cluggy but it'll work.

Wonder if this would work, not an exact part, but you may be able to use the water bottle boss hole for the rivet.

This also sounds like a good job for a 3d printed piece.

I think the originals were steel because the aluminum was too soft and would distort, therefore the rivet. You could probably buy a braze on from a frame builder supplier, drill it out, paint it, and rivet it on. I think Ceeway is still in business, I know Henry James closed down.
