You're right, routing shift cable to the rear of bars shifts beaucoup better.

2 questions-my lh shifter had a loose rear screw-fixed that, but does the spring go in the "loose" or "very tight" notch-post 15 sr11. Seems ok in the "loose" but idk.
Also managed to find the little brass brake washer on the floor-are these available somewhere?

Ha..yup, 2 'notches' there and I think the 'tight' one may be for when that spring 'might' get tired..the 'loose' one is fine.

Not sure what you mean about brass brake washer..the brass inserts for the der housing?? I have them..

Ok im going to take my shtuff apart and re-route my shifter housing. Hopefully that clears things up for me too!
