OK, since none of you wanted to take this frame off my hands when I was in a rare rational mood, I went ahead and built it back up for myself. Turned into a bit of a science experiment, so we’ll see how it goes. A lot of newness here for me: first wireless group, first deep wheelset, and first time trying the new Enve tape (wth at this point, right?). Shakedown cruise this weekend, so tweaks imminent, but I’m liking the vibe so far.

That is a sick gravel bike. What's the gearing?

Although I'm completely biased as a Moots owner, you ultimately did the right thing keeping it.

Maybe I'll shuttle it up there: ride it up to Clean's, drop it there for a while and let him take it the rest of the way. :)

This one stays on the asphalt. Although thanks to the new GP5000s I did manage to squeeze some 32s where no 32 has gone before. (Another first, btw: road tubeless. Probably more skeptical of this move than any of the others.)

Front ring looks tiny. In fact I thought it was 1x until I noticed the front derailleur. But I just realized that you're running 12 speed so I'm guessing the cassette has a 9 or 10, whatever their smallest cog is.

Looks like a nice equipment setup, but is it the lighting or some spray paint.. the whole bike looks like it has a fine misted layer of dust over it?

These ENVEs are the 4.5 Disc, not AR? I have the ARs and learned the hard way that GP 5000s are not approved by ENVE. I had a miserable experience getting tires to set up and not flat.

I'm building a sister bike, a MOOTS RSL Disc road right now, Campy 12, ENVE 4.5AR For this round, I'm installing Vittoria Corsas, TL.

Probably a combination of the cheap auto-correct filter on my phone camera and the incessant smoke from the fires. All of N CA has a fine layer of soot over it these days.

Yep, these are the non-ARs. I didn't think I'd fit larger than 28s in there so I got the narrow version. So far, so good, but you better believe I'm carrying a couple of tubes and a good pump. And my cell phone. :)

46-33 up front and 10-33 in the rear. Not as much climbing since I moved to the South Bay, so hopefully this will do for a while.

That’s the beauty of a ti frame. All you have to do is update the parts every now and then and you have a new bike.

Other than the wheels, that’s basically what I have and I call it the Precious.

Thanks for the tips. Still finding my way around (i.e., getting lost daily), so I appreciate any guidance re good routes.
