That is terrific.

Next week, I'll show you all the sprinklers and hoses I have set up for my neighbors.

The kid really did improve. Very cool.

(Although I sure the homeowner's lawyer and/or insurance company would be 100% against something like that.)

That's awesome! And, coincidentally, my daughter just drew one of those for her little brother this past Sunday. Surprised me.

Not at all what I was expecting, thankfully!

Love the rumble strips on the inside of the turns...this guy has been on the track...

My favorite rumble strip is at the Bus Stop at Watkins Glen. :)

What a great homeowner! Nice that not everyone is a "get off my property" kind of person.

It's a win-win. The kid and his family will be thankful and will be more likely to help the homeowner. There is a drainage easement (20' wide section of mowed lawn) between my property and the neighbors to my east. It's the unofficial path for kids walking from our neighborhood to an adjacent development. I've encouraged two generations of kids to use the easement rather than walking along a busy local road. I think they were shocked that the skinny, old, bald man was nice to them. Even better (for me), I've got to know some great young people and experienced no vandalism or property damage in 23 years :)

Buy that guy a Miller High Life.

Completely agreed. Really didn't want to click on it as I thought it would be a get off my lawn video and the first few seconds had me worried when he said that the camera was being triggered. What an absolutely top bloke.

Like others, fooled me, I was cringing before opening the video. Growing up as one of the local hoodlums in my neighbourhood, quickly figured out who were the good guys and looked out for their families, homes and properties.

What goes around is all around!

I read the title and thought:

"If kids now a days were actually riding bikes through my property I'd build em a track for encouragement"

Although my idea of a track is different, was nice to see it in practice!

I too was hesitant to click the link, but happy I did. Great all around! Cool to see the kid upgrade from a balance bike to a pedal bike along the way.

That’s just awesome. How neighbors are supposed to be. Good on that man for a simple kindness.

I’m glad to see that folks are getting a jolt of “feel good” from the video. Cool guy “really teaching ‘em a lesson” in kindness and humanity. It also sparked a desire for me to get an R2D2 bike helmet.
