my wheels dont spin very long hubs feel dry am I damaging them , is immediate service recomeded . I have them off the bike for now.

Did you open it up and take a look? The basic service can be done easily.

Probably just the seals are dry, the joint between the freehub body and shell, and the end caps.
Also inspect/clean/lube the ratcheting mechanism.

The sealing function is much better when the grease there is refreshed, and the hub spins much freer.

Likely the cartridges need no attention at all unless they've become rough-turning.
