New Record hub - rough bearing?

Just got a set of new '06 Record hubs, and the front one feels a bit rough out of the box. I can't believe this is "normal" but thought I'd ask for your opinion. Send it back for a replacement or take it apart and add more grease?

But I've put three 07 Record grupo's out there and two Chorus, on every one of them including my own the quick release pin on the brake lever has oxidised and is stuck in the closed position. Did Campy cheapen the materiel used? Granted this is Florida and the air IS salty but this is pretty quick for parts to be siezing up :crap:

i've found that campy hubs from about 1999 to present are a bit rough turning out of the box. the best action to take is to disassemble, clean all the grease out and reassemble with fresh grease. once you do this you still may feel a bit of roughness but that will go away after about 100mi.
