I'm in the process of sprucing up an old Knight frame. It belonged to my uncle who rode it x-country in the early 80's.

I believe it to be a British made frame out of 531, but I'm not having much luck ID'ing the dropouts. I found an image of some similar ones that were noted to be made by Mavic, but I wasn't aware that Mavic ever did dropouts. The brazed-on nut on the top of the dropout is not, I suspect, original.

Any ideas?

Looks like Mavic, is there an unthreaded hole for the adjuster?
