Second one: Smith Optics
A bit more complicated but in the end, Smith came through for me as well.
The coating on my lens begins to fade/peel BIG TIME.
"I am going BLIND, I'm goin' BLIND!"
"Oh, so sorry....you take a picture and show me, go fill up a claim form on our site, then pick a new pair of glasses that you like on our site, ok?" Oh, make sure you break that lens into half so you can't claim it again. Take a picture also, ok?
"OK! So....er...any glasses?? I happen to like this one. (Smith SuPERMAN $3,999)"
"Haha....you so funny... (*fat hope) We only replace your lens. I will send you a coupon"
"That's fine. I knew it was too good to be true. OMG! Even the replacement lens is like $65...for that piece of plastic!
"Don't worry, the coupon is worth $80..."
"OK...hope it works"
And it did. With shipping all included. It came a week later. I am back to 20/20 and looking cool again.
It's nice when companies stand behind their products.
