Hey all - just learning about flobikes...wish they were on youtube tv... I’m considering it as it’s only $13/mo.

What are people’s experiences? Can you “dvr” races I.e. watch at your convenience/start late etc?

Unfortunately not...

You can watch real time or they have replays. There is some hours lag before the replays are available. The replays are on their server; sometimes it doesn't allow you to fast forward and back. The replays disappear from the menu after some number of days.

You get the broadcast video feed and sometimes the Euro commentators and sometimes a US guy in his bedroom. It works pretty good... and there's no ads!

Thanks for the info...

What a bummer about lack of dvr! Looks like they partner with fubo...but we’re YouTube tv!

I have flo bikes.

Unless im wrong, fubu tv cost way more. Its basically internet cable. I went with flo bikes. 150 for the year. I get most races and it helps if you have a vpn. Some races are country protected. So i just change my vpn.

This will be my first year using flo bikes only.

If i switch to canada i can view TDF 2019, which here in the US is only nbc sport gold. If im use a US vpn its blocked. So I switch to canada.

So, this weekend i watched Stada Bianchi with no problems on flo bikes. I used it last year for the giro.

Good luck

Why not just get the GCN race pass?

Any flobikes subscribers getting “currently unavailable in your area” for the TDF?

I’ve gotten this for a number of races during this year...and now TDF.

Think I’m done with Flo.

Flo bikes won't work for le tour in CONUS. You have to get NBC Sports Gold.

it will work with a VPN.

Don't pause a live broadcast on Flobikes - I think I paused Milan San-Remo, started it back a little while later, and after about 15 minutes, right when an attack was made, the stream went forward to after the race. I just mostly watch replays on Flobikes now...

GCN+ is the primary viable cycling racing source. It is great for 50 a year. You do have to learn how to use a VPN. Search threads here or just sign up. See

Way better than anything else as you will find if you research. Such an easy decision.

Sbs Australia (https://www.sbs.com.au/) with a VPN.

Great coverage of all the races with both live and on demand options. It’s got commercials but it’s free.

Two things:

The USA broadcast rights for the Tour Down Under are held by NBC. Live coverage and replays are available through Peacock.

Flo Bikes has the broadcast rights to many races in Canada, so try setting your VPN location to Canada. When I set my Norton VPN to Canada, I was able to watch the Tour Down Under.

Are those the guys who held a caliper to a standard bearing and sold it as Quality because it was 6.00?

GCN plus VPN.

Friends don't let friends subscribe to Flo - for reasons like these.
