Just wanted to brag about something I made for my girlfriend after her bike was retired (she wore a hole thru her chainstay with her tire). It sounds way better than either of us was expecting.

I feel like I might make an Etsy page to do more of these. Got a busted bike you don't want to let go? Windchime time!

Good one. As well seasoned as it may be, no soup for me thanks. I'll pass on that paceliner special.

Cool.
Sean, did you cut them to specific lengths to tune the frequencies to a particular musical scale? (tough to get that right if you're using tubes with different diameters and wall thicknesses, because then L isn't the only variable, but still possible to do).

Very nice sounding
But how did wear through the chainstay ? That’s a lot of riding !

Really nice. I should have done something like this with my destroyed Merlin instead of donating the frame. Then I would have had a titanium wind chime.
