Peter Green passed in his sleep. He was 73. Fleetwood Mac at their best IMO.

For a few years they were really something else. Green's voice then was also great.

Saw Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green twice in Seattle at Eagles Auditorium many years ago. Great performances. Festival seating, in other words you were sitting on the floor.

A great guitarist, I guess that one acid trip in Germany really messed him up. Then Play On is a great album, I agree with the previous comment that this is the best version of Fleetwood Mac.

I liked the song Station Man. Could not find a good Peter Green version.

Kiln House w/ Danny Kirwan and Jeremy Spencer playing guitar was an excellent album.

Really sad and shocking news. I still have the original Black Magic Women LP. I play it two or three times a year. He was a fantastic and often forgotten musician. I have one of his later in life cd's. It's very good, but I can’t remember the name. There is a good documentary on Prime or Netflix about Peter.

Maybe the guy for whom the sentiment "Yeah, but I liked their old stuff better" was invented.

He of the voice-of-the-gods tone, of the fabled '59 'burst Les Paul, with the out-of-phase pickup. One of the most iconic guitars in all of rock and roll.

Incomparable Touch, Taste, and Tone.
He still gets a lot of play in my truck, and I hear something new and refreshing every time.

RIP Greeny.

We've lost so many great musicians lately.

RIP Peter Green.

I’m a big fan of the real Fleetwood Mac. I got to see Peter Green in the Splinter Group a number of years ago, and it was really sad.

Damn I missed that show.
Many others sitting on that concrete floor.
I love FM when they were a rocking blues band.
PG was great!
