Have read a few things over the years about this. Pretty sad.
I was at the 2003 World's in Hamilton when a friend who was volunteering told me she was not going to race. Big shock as we saw her as a hopeful to win.

That’s a sad and disturbing story. I knew her coach was a piece of fecal matter, but the entourage of terrible people is disturbing.
