Quandry???????? Concourse or CDA

I have a legend st, and now need to upgrade the travel/backup bike. I have the chance to get a Concourse Cs at a discount which is exactly my dimensions, or get a new CDA. My legend is OS and the concourse is not. I would have the CDA built as a compact, and OS if they have that in steel. The idea of having another design and material is appealing.

All suggestions appreciated.

Both are great. If the Concours is natural finish and not paint, it will travel better (no paint to chip) Compact takes less room. Net is that if you are like most of us, you can "create" a reason for any bike purchase. Yes I am guilty as charged.

Side note, I rode a Legend ST at the Serotta Demo in Parkridge NJ last weekend - what a great ride!. I have a regular Legend non OS tubes. The one I rode was an OS with ST. I now have to find a reason for purchase...

Both the bikes you mention have carbon stays. In terms of durability for travel, would'nt an all steel or Ti make more sense? Just a thought ...
