I have a friend that has a '92 Bridgestone XO-3 that he is converting to a single speed. He has started taking of the various parts and is down to the handlebars. This bike had some unique upright bars on it called Arc Bars. He would like to reuse them, but they are rusty from his years living near the beach. In his words "I don't want to replace them; they are cool", but they do need to be refinished.
Any suggestions on how to do this? Would it be practical to have this powder coated once they have been cleaned up?
Thanks in advance.
