i have one of those little clug things in all black if anyone interested. for 23-28mm tires (smallest one). brand new, never mounted. not sure if i kept the box though. shoot me a DM if interested.

just gave away a similar wooden wall mounted one like that to a friend. i did not like how bulky it was or looked. going to just wall hooks from harbor freight for $10 or so two spaced apart to hold the top tube or one to hold it from the rear wheel. pad them with microfiber or something. minimalist for me.

Yes, it is the standard size. I believe that the primary difference between sizing is the distance from the wall. With 42cm bars, the standard works well, but people with wide bars would need more distance from the wall for it to fit properly.

Whatever technique you use, ensure it has a way to "manage" the tires so they do not touch the painted walls.
Nothing makes a workspace look rattier and uninspiring than scraped-up, marred, and dirty walls. Keep it tidy! :-)

I love the look of the horizontal ones, but I really only have room here for a vertical one because of how that door opens up. I may need to search etsy for a wooden vertical one that would keep marks off the wall and look nice.

I have used the Clug in a horizontal application and it worked fine for that. Not sure I’d trust its security in a vertical application unless you’re sure it wouldn’t be disturbed. Also, its positioning would depend on the wheelbase of your ride so consider that if you’d want to accommodate different bikes. And there’s the additional consideration of marring the wall with the lower tire...
