I've become increasingly sun sensitive, but live in a hot region. Any recommendations for good hot weather weight, long sleeve SPF jerseys? Ideally with a higher collar for neck protection?
Looking for something that is somewhat close fitting, but not aero tight. Specialized use to make a line like this, but it seems gone.

Being a vain sort of person, I have Columbia sun sleeves in white, red and yes, black.
They work very well teamed with a lightweight short sleeve jersey.
IIRC there are similar material neck gaiters...

For me, I have found sun sleeves to be cooler than long sleeves. I still use sun block also.

Voler has this in white
https://www.voler.com/browse/product/li/1010H30
I dont have it but think it is very lightweight
They told me their Thermal version of that jersey is only 260grams for a medium so this one must be very light
But truthfully I use a number of LS jerseys
Main thing for me is weight is not over 230-260gr
then I know it is pretty cool & temps easily regulated by zipping down front on climbs
Even jerseys like Castelli Velocissimo 2 @ 248 grams is fine for most of my rides
I do have some lighter all poly ones too. Sadly that company OneTen is not being sold by Chain Reaction/ Wiggle anymore. I think they were actually a company DHB used to test products because they are identical in some cases
I have these and use them a lot to keep the sun off of my tattoo (sleeve)

Far more versatile than a long sleeve jersey

This Voler is pretty ideal, and I like the price! Thanks.

Just piling on, I have the original version of these and have been very happy with them:

fwiw, I think this is the same fabric and SPF.. if you're looking for another color other than white. Though.. a few $ more

I always wear a base, just because I like to. For summer, I'd like someone to invent (and here's the free idea) a LS base that combines a "Craft"-like mesh shortsleeve base, sewn to SPF 30 arms, using material like found in most UV arm screens. the Mesh area+ jersey should suffice for SPF, no matter how lightweight your summer jersey.

My new favorite summer jersey. (https://www.boure.com/8604-20.html) (Of course, I can be a retrogrouch so what's not to like about a Peugeot tribute?:)) Wore it today @90F, 68 dewpoint without a baselayer and still didn't overheat (while riding, stopping was miserable). Made by Voler. I have two other LS Boure SPF jerseys and I rarely ride anything else in the summer.
Tried sun sleeves and SS jersey and seemed a bit futzy to me.

And this is another iteration of the same Voler jersey already referred to twice above.
What's up with the mainstream brands that none of them seemingly offer a SPF-marketed LS jersey? Their lineups are extensive enough there should be room.

If you search for Spectrum fabric on the voler site, they have still more options. Spectrum is more expensive though
