I wonder if there is anything new. My kids see me on the trainer all the time in the winter, summer seems like a time to shop, so what are good trainers for 24” wheels? Any for 20?

Do I have to buy a standard trainer and get an adaptor, or are there some sideway based trainers that have a broad range of wheel sizes?

Thanks.

BMXers have been using rollers forever... I know, not exactly what you're talking about..

Wahoo KICKRs can size down to a 24” road with no modifications, it’s a preset position adjustment of the legs/lower support. I don’t know of any 20” options other than rollers.

I looked into this a few weeks ago as my son was bugging me to get on zwift.
So...
Most of Kurt Kinatics trainers are compatible with 20 inch bikes, you do need to buy a separate adapter but it looks like it is really easy to use.

Also the Bkool trainers will work with pretty much any size bike that you can think of.
While they don't make them anymore they are still available on ebay and facebook marketplace.
