Normally I would have a shop do a 1-off headset install, but they are all backed up and not looking for small jobs. I am in SF and looking to borrow a Park HHP-2 for a couple of days.

If someone has a used extra one for sale at a discount to retail that would be fine also.

Anybody local have one?

Thanks.

Get a metal threaded rod, some washers and like a step down cooper fitting thing. Used that for years before I found the tool for the right price.

If you can't find one to borrow and are not set on Park: https://www.merlincycles.com/en-us/cyclus-headset-press-92123.html
Never used the Park one but since the process itself is fairly straightforward, I don't know whether there would be a big difference between the 2.
At least for home mechanic use.
I have the Cyclus press and it works really well for me, even though I only used it on steel frames with standard 1" and 1.125" HS.
