i'm tempted to get a new bike. before they stop making rim brake bikes anyway.
how much would a take-off shimano 105 group with stock alloy wheels run for? $300? 400?
i'm basically trying to figure out if this is a cost effective proposition before i draw ire for bringing another full bike home (a frameset is probably fine )

IMO, it's hard to say at the moment because there isn't really a ton of used R7000 stuff out there, for whatever reason. Looks like about $500 for the group new, so $400 with wheels seems pretty good?

Unless you desperately need the cash, have you considered keeping the group at least? If you've not used it, it's really fantastic. If you're running DA/Ultegra, it could be good to have the spares around just in case something breaks and you can't get the a replacement part at short notice.

$300 for the group, $100 for wheels is probably reasonable to expect.
$400 easy for a take off R7000 group

$500 new here: https://www.eurobikeparts.com/proddetail.php?prod=SH-R7000-8pc
so yeah $300-$400 I'd say?

well i'd be keeping the brakes and the crank is going to be a bb30a (non 105 crank)
i wouldn't keep the group since i'm 100% etap now baby.

I may be interested in the mini-group (shifters, preferably clamp FD, RD, cassette, chain) if you go this route.
