Sorry, I never thought I'd be that guy that feels the need to announce something like this, but if this site can't get real about topics like this then I feel it's time we part ways.

I mean seriously, if we can't all embrace the fact that this country has dome some ****ty stuff and it's high time we clear the air then that's basically accepting the status quo in my book which is not okay. A positive message about a black athlete on Juneteenth is a dialogue that is on topic of cycling.
I can't believe a site I've been a part of this long can't have that conversation. This country has some real serious skeletons in our closet and it's time to clean house. I'm not blaming any mods for their actions. You have difficult work and little recognition for it. I blame the fact that enough users here might get triggered by the basic facts of US racism that is coming to yet another head. We can't keep keep kicking that can down the curb anymore.
