Is there any camera that can sync pictures automatically with iCloud Photos the same way an iPhone does?
I.e. no need for a cable connection or reading an SD card.
Take a picture and minutes later it will be available in Photos.

I have a Canon, an Olympus and a GoPro that can kind of do what you want but they all use their own app as an interface. So, you don’t don’t need a cable or card reader but it’s not an automatic process. First, you open the app on the iPhone, connect the iPhone to the camera via WiFi and then transfer the photos.

the camera would have to have an adhoc network to link about with your iPhone.
My Leica has an app for that.

Such a camera likely would take better pics. Better ergonomics, too.
It would be very convenient to have images immediately and safely stored

Or it connects to an existing WLAN.

there's an SD card on the market with built-in WiFi so any camera can do this....
