The rubber around the power switch on my old 800 has cracked.
Any recommendations on what to use to seal / waterproof?
Not too worried about lifetime, just compatibility and keeping out the rain.
Thanks!

I recently replaced the battery on a Garmin Edge 305. I used black Permatex RTV to glue/seal the unit. The RTV made for a good, smooth seal and matched the existing rubber fairly closely.

Update:
Bought a replacement back cover off AliExpress.
Kept my expectations as low as the price.
It did not meet vastly lowered expectations: Rubber switch button failed within a couple of WEEKS!
Good news:
While snooping YouTube vids on this repair, saw one that showed replacing the rubber switch with a wee piece of Bic Pen ink tube and electrical tape to cover.
Well This has been working fine for over a month.
And I bet replacing these will be simple.
And cost-free.
Still Garmin-ing.
