Can anyone vouch for one of the aftermarket adapters?

I want to upgrade my 3 year old OPEN UP to GRX, but I need an adapter that Shimano doesn't make.

I can see that KCNC makes one, it's in their 2020 catalog, but I don't know how to order (not on their ebay site).

There's also this one from Canada...quite pricy.

Anyone have a solution?

does your frame have the required gap between the two posts? I don't think there are too many because it isn't going to work on most frames.

That assolutions adapter (https://www.assolutions.ca/shop/adapters/flat-mount-brake-caliper-to-140-post-mount-frame-fork-with-160-rotor/) look to be the one that came on my 2019 Ibis Hakka with GRX flat mounts. I would bet it is the part and likely far cheaper than direct.

I don't even notice it is not a direct flat-mount and had to go look before responding.

I decided to go with GRX levers mated to XTR post mount calipers. Been powerful with fantastic modulation. if you've not seen the XTR calipers, they are very small and light and none of the IceTech fins I've become used to. I was concerned about brake fade, so I decided I'd just use the brakes less. Plus, faster.

But really, 165lbs very confident descender on and off road and I've never felt fade...and I've dragged a bit to try to recreate and nothing so far.
