2014 vs 2015 campagnolo levers and hoods

I have some Veloce levers with no shifter guts. I want to get some hoods for them but I don't know if they are pre or post 2015. Can anyone help me out with this? Sorry for the crap pic.

Those are pre 2015 hoods tho.

I havent actually tried that i recall but i was always under the assumptions that they were since i have seen a few pre 2015 levers with 2015+ hoods. But i havent really examined the fit of those but yeah i think they are or was under the impression they are.

Ultrashift vs Powershift are the mechanisms in the Right thumb lever that allow one gear at a time (Powershift) or multiple changes per throw (Ultrashift).

Chorus Record and Super Record were all Ultra (I think there was a generation of Athena that had Ultrashift guts as well).

Most Athena, Potenza, et al were Powershift.

Hoods should be interchangeable between pre and post 2015 levers. Or so a bird told me back in 2015. Never actually tried myself.

PS just has a hole, US has a slot..I've never tried to put US onto a PS lever..other wouldn't work.

Some rubbing alcohol or simple green will clean these altho they get dirty really quickly..

I have just fitted a pair of 2015+ hoods on my ‘09-‘11 SR shifters, fit was dead on :)
