Axle Swap on White Industries CLD Hub

Has anyone swapped 12 x 142 to QR x 135 on a rear CLD hub? I see published instructions for the opposite and likely more common qr -> 12mm. I wonder if it is as simple as following the steps in reverse? Hub is built into a wheel fwiw.

Yeah very easy actually. Something I love about WI. I’d recommend taking your time tho, and to clean out all the grime if there is any. It can be a little tough to tension them but sometimes sticking em in a frame or wheel stand helps. Wish more folks make axle swaps easy, mavic has it down or used to last I checked
