Agreed and also really appreciate the Sagan paintjob from a few years ago. It is pretty awesome for a production paint job. Here are a couple pics of mine from a ride on Saturday.

Also everyone should check out Fat Creations Instagram. His paint work is stellar. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200601/50f49023de4a0bf1e3ff17f83033e8d2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200601/a61b993ebe32a23cbd62bdc9a4aa72c5.jpg

The Wilier Trestina cromovelato finish is beautiful in my eyes and "unique" in at least that it is heavily associated with the brand. I don't see anyone else doing it in that copper finish, and I drool a little bit every time I see a nice example.

There is without a doubt some crazy, mouth-watering art work here. But the problem is...for those of us who ride solo 90% of the time, no one else gets to see it. If you can't share it with someone, it's just not as much fun.

PS: Yinzerniner, who did that incredible job?

I never owned one, but saw one once irl.
The opposite of complicated in many ways, but it was a truly beautiful, stunning frameset:
Wilier Cromovelato.

I do not remember the specific model (maybe "Superleggera") but it was older, steel. I think the fork was cromovelato too, but maybe the stays were silver chromed. It was great, very elegant, beautifully built (modern Record 10 carbon). Just super.

There are a few bikes that are just so iconic. Bianchi Celeste, Molteni Orange, Mapei Colnagos, USPS Treks and maybe a couple others. But you see those and you know who and what it is. And they always stand the time test.
