Tom ditched it due to the unsightly patterns the perforations left on his derriere - the closest he'll ever get to wearing a climbers jersey. The pisstaking in the apres-course Roubaix showers got just too much for the tough-yet-sensitive Boom Boom.

i have'm on nearly all my rides, including a yellow perf on my red/yellow fade ciii (sweet). the BIG difference aside from style between the perf and non-perf models is that your arse really sticks (does not move) on the perf model. the white perf model is really elegant; i nearly didn't install my last white perf because it was just too purdy in new condition. it still looks cool after xxxx miles though.

Sounds like a job for Armor All. I put some on my non-perf white one, in the hopes of helping keep it clean, and almost slid off on the first ride :p Anyone now where to find a new yellow Regal?

the white perf regal is my favorite saddle, aesthetically at least, of all time. I've owned a few white perf saddles but have never had the cash to throw down for the regal when they've shown up on ebay. I'm riding a black regal with ti rails right now based on a recomendation form the swami, picked it up for $8.00 (thank you ebay). It's an incredibly comfortable and slick looking ride. Now bring on the PERF! Cheers.
