Just wanted to briefly share my experience dealing with Guilio at SpeedyDecal. A while ago I received a frame replacement from trek that I was never really happy with and got the idea of adding a custom look. Someone here mentioned speedydecal, but I couldn't find any real reviews of their work. They already had my wheel logo measurements in their system and measuring the downtube was pretty straightforward. After a little back and forth I received the scaled proofs and had to choose the color - this was the most difficult part of the process because they have a vast selection of different materials and colors. My order shipped just as Italy was locked down for covid and the decals took about a month to reach nyc. Finally got the chance to install these today after crazy few months of quarantine and am super happy with the results. Was pretty easy to install with a hairdryer and some patience. The results:

Did you remove the original decals or are the new ones placed on top?

Did you remove the original decals or are the new ones placed on top?The total was 61€. The originals are an inlay, but the decals parallel the outline and it looks pretty good.

Been considering doing the same thing with my Domane, but going the other way -- thinking some neon green would look good on the matte gray frame. Does anyone know of a domestic maker?

Very subjective but if the before was that blue Trek decal - I think that looks better. again : so subjective.

Unfortunately, it is a weird dark purple that looks black unless there is direct lighting... The bike which it replaced had a super cool grey textured finish and I just wanted something with a little more character.

I believe the grey looks much better particularly the way you tied the wheels in. Nice job!
