If you mainly do your own work, what do you keep on-hand?

Does anyone keep a list of bike related lubricants/solvent/etc that they keep on hand at all times? Im going to update my set but not I am sure what I would be missing. I keep:

1) LocTite Red/Blue
2) Chain lubricant (currently 'rock and roll'
3) WD-40
4) Acetone
5) Goo-Gone
6) Phil's Bio-Lube
7) Phil Waterproof Grease
7) Tri-flow
9) Some train cleaner
10) Dishwashing soap
11) Disposable Wet-Wipes

What's in your kit?

so great for both car and fine bike. you think you scratched it but it is simply a deep transfer of dirt or paint from where you leaned your bike or some crap you rode through. rub with this stuff and a microfiber cloth and you get surprised at what comes off.

also NFS lube.
also carbon paste.
also paint thinner and isopropyl for cleaning chain and then removing the cleaner pre lube.

Good point. Any preferred brand of Carbon Paste?

What do you use on threads in BB and on bearings?

Anything for spokes?

I have collected so many different products over the years for different things it's obscene. The funny thing is that I keep coming back to the lubes I used back when I was a shop mechanic.

Triflow
Phil grease
WD-40
dry lube for cables
Lemon Pledge or auto spray on wax

Two things that I've added to the above list is that I've gone to waxing my chains and I have some carbon paste for those bits.

But not really. Anyone tried some of these ceramic spray wax’s or coatings. I mean the non professional driveway type products like Mother’s or mequiars or whoever makes the best/easiest to use products? Maybe this should have been its own thread. Maybe it already is. Maybe I should have done a forum search before posting. Maybe I shouldn’t have had that Boston cream donut this morning.

I accept my failures.

As a fan of lists in general, I'll play!

- chain lube (currently have both NFS and ProGold Pro Link on hand)
- cleat lube (Finish Line Dry w/ Teflon)
- grease (currently have both NFS Race Grease and Phil's on hand)
- ...but also, Finish Line Extreme Flouro PFPAE grease, for use on S&S couplers
- odorless mineral spirits
- WD-40
- isopropyl alcohol (not just for rotors; it's invaluable for cleaning matte finish frames)
- Dawn dish soap
- Liquid Wrench (just because I bought a quart of it ~10 years ago and I maybe use 4 drops per year on my bikes)
- Simple Green
- Blue Loctite

I've used the Meguiar's "Hybrid Ceramic Wax" on my car. Easy to apply and works reasonably well. To clarify, it's what you expect from a retail product and coming from a spray bottle. You need to make sure the paint is clean.
