i am not sure what i think: Trek Travel used bikes for sale, sudden price increase

i have been watching their used Domane bikes for a really long time. and the 2017s have been on every city's craigslist for a really long time. a couple of days ago the 2019 Domane Di2 was $3000 and the 2017 was $2100 and now each is up $200. of course they can charge anything they want but this appears to be due to bike demand during the plague. i am good with my Roubaix but something seems a bit stinky about the rise.

They got VERY fresh bikes for that purchase price.

they usually wait longer to sell them and those 2019 are on sale with just one year of usage since the plague has cancelled the 2020 tours when these would have been used again.

The 2019 is disc and is essentially the same as the current model. Pretty good deal even with the slight upcharge.

otherwise i'd go for a 2019 in a second...if i was in the market. 2020 looks weird to me and other than T47 goes more and more toward proprietary. cable routing, seat mast, etc.
