What would one expect to pay for a used in excellent condition Chorus 11 speed group? I am out of the loop. Just trying to get a reasonable ballpark. I am considering to begin the hunt for one.

When a chorus 12 group can be had for $1060, it would have to be a lot less than that.

It may not matter for talking used purchases, but the 11 speed Chorus new is more than 12 speed due to the use of carbon versus aluminum.

for discussion purposes, would the last few years of chorus 10 with the UT crank be worth more used than C11? it seems people around here love 10v

for the OP...unless you can get C11 for $500 or less, I see no reason to do that unless you want 11v to interchange shimano and campagnolo wheels.

otherwise C12 offers gear choices not found in 11v or 10v. for that reason alone I would just step up to C12 (https://www.coloradocyclist.com/campagnolo-chorus-12-complete-groupset)

Good point. Are the spacing on 11 & 12 sp Campy cassettes the same? Are hub bodies compatible?

Cassette spacing is not the same but hub body works with 9-12

Given current pricing, I would expect to pay $500-650 for a complete chorus 11 group, depending on the age and wear.

how much for NOS?

Campy Chorus 11 is still available new at a number of retailers, including many of those in the UK, so NOS should be the same price. But you have to search the various places as stock is running low.

Good Luck!

.

Some good price points shared here.

Will be similarly searching for Chorus 12spd Disc, which I assume will be at a higher price range than rim-brake.

Campy hubs work with 9-12 speed. The sprocket spacing for 12 speed has been reduced.

Also, the lower price is mostly due to new carbon parts that have no clear finish. The brake levers are now black coated aluminum. The brakes are now from Taiwan and have shimano compatible brake pads. I have both 2018 chorus and chorus 12 brakes. I can't tell any difference in performance.

Campy and SRAM 12 sprockets have nearly identical spacing - even closer than 11 speed.
