I'm going to attempt my first build. Does this look right or does it seem way too close - chainrings + crankarm?
The BB is a BSA rotor and crankset is a Rotor 3d30. The instructions say no spacers needed when going BSA. thankyou

isn't there suppose to be a wavy washer on the non-drive side?

Theres that knurled locknut on the NDS that you hand tighten to adjust preload and eliminate any lateral play according to the instructions.

Yep, it's close, but remember that the chain is passing over the top/front of the chainring....you don't need space for the chain to pass in the gap between chainring and chainstay. If it does, you've got other problems.

A couple of things to check:
The chain-line once you have the cassette/ wheel mounted.
The distance of the crankarms to the chainstay measured on each side, it should be more or less equal distance.
