Planning on picking up a frameset soon (BMC is out of the 58, 56 might be a touch small). May end up with a 55 Mr. Pink. I looked at geos and have a good idea of what I need but no LBS in my area stocks All City and BMC is of course not stocked anywhere except BMC I believe. So test riding/fitting is probably not going to happen.

It would be extremely helpful if I could see pics of 55 and 58 Mr. Pinks and 56 and 58 BMC Road V3 built up with the saddle height noted in your comments.

I usually run my saddle at 76 or so.

Thank you for the:help:

This is a 775mm saddle height on a 55cm Mr. Pink that I borrowed for a day. I can't imagine being shorter and going up to the 58cm size.

If you like the steel fork, nice price on new Mr. Pink frames at Velomine: https://www.velomine.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_209_662&products_id=5554&zenid=1d8nq7pfi0i6bm890fvo4f2nk6

Awesome thanks for that pic and the link. Funny you chimed in. I was eyeing your Milwaukee and by the time my finances were bike-ready it was gone. I was digging that thing.

Here is my 56 BMC. Saddle height is 76.5 and I'm 181cm. Pic shows a 120mm stem but I've since gone back to a 110. Aesthetically it sometimes looks slightly janky to me with the amount of seatpost exposed for this frame size/front end, but I love the way it rides and handles and the 58 would've been too much frame. It does have a gently sloping top tube, not quite compact, which may be contributing to looking slightly odd, along with the Merckx graphics which would traditionally be found on a classic horiz top tube frame.

One thing Mike Varley at BMC had a post up on FB or IG the other day that said something along the lines of having limited stock available on the rim brake road model and "once they're gone, they're gone" something about trying new things and the end of the road for future rim brake models. Search it out if interested further it was a couple days ago.
