really nice!
you may or may not know (or care!), but Planet Bike, who make, what i consider to be really nice alloy cages for about 5 bucks each, a celeste cage that would look great on this bike!

Thanks for the tip, I’ll check it out.
I find that it’s easy to go overboard with Celeste accessories though, I had originally bought Celeste leather bar wrap...but then changed my mind as it looked too much

I love that beautiful old Bianchi. Reminds me in high school of my jealousy of a friend who had one back in the day :D
My project? New brakes and new group set drive train for the MTB.
Look at the size of that cassette!

That is lovely. Agree you can go overboard with celeste trim, silver cage looks nice. I bought celeste tires for my wife's Bianchi and it was not bueno.

Very true, too much is too much and "matchy-matchy" with those beautiful tough components would just be trying way too hard. For some reason people seem to go crazy a lot with celeste all over, and it often looks terrible. The build and bits look perfect as it is. Very nice bicycle, well done.

My COVID project entailed learning to use the sewing machine. I started by learning to sew masks. Now I’ve graduated a bit:

Just got in some cordura and thicker pack cloth so excited to see where this goes next.

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThat's awesome! Where did you end up picking up cordura? I've started with masks too and am hankering for a bigger project..

It’s pretty easily available online. Rocky woods has a big selection and you might load up on buckles and other doodads and end up spending $150 like I did. If you go on eBay and just look up cordura by the yard the prices are competitive and I bet they will ship to you a lot faster than rocky woods did.

No straps yet but this is my first messenger bag sewn. This one is made with duck canvas and has stiff interfacing but got a little wrinkly. Moving onto using cordura soon and ditching the interfacing which I’m glad about.
Pardon the mess in the back - just got a bunch of bedding and linens out that are going to Goodwill.

Basement of envy there, you took it to 11. I hope to someday own a place with a basement, I've always found them appealing.
