I need the RD positioning screw (https://www.campagnolo.com/media/files/035_2397_Technical%20manual%20-%2012s_Mechanical%20units%20rear%20derailleur%20-%20Campagnolo_Rev04_06_19_ENG.pdf) (page 5, figure 3) for a SR 12 rear derailleur. It's listed as part assembly RD-SR105 (https://www.campagnolo.com/media/files/035_2437_Catalogue_spare%20parts_tools_Campagnolo_ 2020_part_A_Rev02.pdf) in Campy docs, but without actual specs on the screw I need, finding one at the hardware store or specialty bolt shop will be difficult.

My search led me here (https://www.smi-radsport.de/Fahrradteile/Campagnolo/Campagnolo-Schaltwerk/Campagnolo-Ersatzteile-Schaltwer/CAMPAGNOLO-SUPER-RECORD-Begrenzungsschrauben-Set.html), but I'm hoping to find something closer. Know of any spare parts retailers?

You are looking for the grub screw (headless screw)? If you know the diameter, thread pitch, and length you can order it from any source. Maybe someone else here will know the OD, one can surmise the pitch, the length you can guesstimate.

I guess they're both called RD positioning screws, but headed screw is the one in question. The grub screw comes installed, but the headed one needs to be installed if not using on a direct mount frame, which...raises another question. Why not just use it as a direct mount?

From the WheelsMFG site (https://wheelsmfg.com/blog/standard-mount-vs-direct-mount-derailleur-hangers.html)...

"If you have a direct mount rear derailleur, you can use it with a standard deralleur hanger (with b-link), or use it on a direct mount hanger (without b-link)"

So I'm using a standard hanger, and the easier (and probably better) solution is just use it as is and not remove the Q screw, as Campy calls it. I think I'll mark this as solved, but your input helped me think a bit further. I'm new to the direct mount RD, so it was time for Grasshopper to do a quick study.
