After reading a few posts here regarding the FSA Kwing agx bars I decided to give them a try.
My first "flat" bars....very comfortable and ergonomic. Like them alot.
They may not look like traditional cinelli 64's but at my age (65) it's about comfort and hand position.

I find the flat stops behind the hood very helpful. I got big meaty hands and the fat thumbs [abductor pollicis brevis] gets near zero pressure compared to about everything else.
I have the K-Wing Compact [same flats] on two road bikes to stay.

Is it considered bad form to wrap flatter bars like these closer to the center/stem, or is there a funcitonal reason that generally people don't do this?

Bar tape isn’t long enough most of the time. These aero bars have more surface area to wrap.

I don't know proper taping on these bars. I wanted to get them on quick for a ride today.....it has internal holes for cabling and di2 but i'll do that tomorrow.
One thing i did notice....it does take up quite a bit more tape to wrap...what's on there now is just a couple of leftover pieces.
