2020 Domane. With 38 GravelKings it’s a smooth, smooth ride, no matter the surface. Maybe not the fastest or the funnest, but definitely the most “all-around” bike I’ve owned.

Which model Domane is this?? They've got these priced all over the map depending on frame material and grouppo.

It’s an SL7. Swapped out the bars for wide EC70s and the wheels for ATRs, and of course, gotta have my C17, but otherwise stock.

I'll be damned - I didn't know you can run tires that big on a Domane. Nice!

Wow, I had a Domane in the stable at one point and it didn't have that kind of clearance. With 38s you can pretty much ride anything. Swap the wheels and it's a capable road bike. Vey nice!

Love mine. Purchased the same color as yours but trek replaced it due to a broken stay. Amazing ride, miss the color. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200510/210fb477da0ba6f704dd1ed646ab5b74.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200510/ffc27b9287afa482b2893c5b97d07cd0.jpg

Definitely positive. All day comfort, no matter the surface, but still a road fit and feel. If you could only have one bike, this is as close as I've found so far.

I fear if I got one I wouldn't need any other bikes......and then I'd have all this free time for other pursuits and obsessions.. Sounds terrible! Ha ha.

Count me as Domane curious—I had no idea that 38s could fit on these—so versatile. Also I’m now at 4200 miles with no flats on the 48mm Gravel Kings I’m running on my Ritchey. They are pretty hard tires to beat for a wallet friendly reasonably fast tubeless tire.

The 2020 Domane has definitely been on my list for this reason. It is interesting that Trek decided to take this frame as far with clearance and comfort as they did. Part of me is intrigued and wants to go demo one.

As someone looking for a more aggressive fit I would unfortunately need to do the SLR Project One in order to get that H1 geometry. There are a lot of nice bikes I would rather splurge on for the SLR price.

Another fun outing on the Domane. The bike/tire combination is perfect for this route: 10 miles of asphalt to 7 miles of dirt to 5 miles of gravel to 5 more miles of asphalt. Really impressed w how fast the GKs are on pavement.

(Side note: somebody please buy my Moots so I can justify keeping this, otherwise this one will be on the block soon. Really trying to keep my n=2 resolution.) :)
