Quick Query:

Anyone know if a 12s eagle shifter will work with an 11s rd?

I haven't tried it, but the official word from Sram is no.

Another report I found over on MTBR says the Ders have the same parallelogram and movement and its the shifter that has a different ratio to accommodate the 12s spacing. If you stick to the smaller cassette to stay within the capacity of the 11s der, looks like this might work.

If you have a moment, please report back with your experience. Good experiment to do.

Personally ran an Eagle rear derailleur on a 11s shifter with a Sunrace 11-50 11s cassette.

Worked perfectly. Cable pull is the same.
