I have Veloflex clincher tires on one set of wheels and the discoloration has gone from nice tan to crispy orange. They're only a year or so old.

Years ago, when I used sewup that's just how things were re: UV degradation.

Curious if today's tire casing technology responds well to any sidewall treatment like Armor All, 303, etc.

303 is magic. Just keep it off the rim and the tread.

Way back when we used liquid latex on skinwall tubulars.

If a set of tires is lasting you a year, you need to ride more.

I would hope so. But still.

"But still" your comment was ignorant and petty. That's what.

On topic I'm wondering if tubeless sealant, Orange Seal Endurance specifically, does anything to degrade/dry out the sidewalls versus tubes.

303 is watered down Armor All, wihch is watered down Silicon, nothing magic about it. Get some pure Silicon spray from the local electronics or auto parts store.

If you like paying more, for more water purchase 303. If you need a simple explanation read here https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/3421640/Vinyl_and_Rubber_Protectant_-_
