i have the chance to buy/flip this. i have 8/9 speed shimano hubbed wheels but not sure if they are compatible with sram red or how many speeds the right/rear has. i would also need cassette. the asking price is also uncertain. can someone enlighten me

That's either a 10 or 11s sram red group. Could be one of the first iteration exogram 10s groups before they went to 11s internals. Cassette doesn't have to be a Sram one. Shimano 10 or 11 (to match the shifter) will be fine if you have one of those laying around.

That generation of madone frames are pretty good bikes. If it is one of the SSL ones, even better. Hard to tell from the picture but there will be some branding on it somewhere if it is an SSL.

How good a deal is heavily dependent on asking price.

My experience is that if you can get it for a low enough price then a part out can be worth the time/hassle. I have made good money or ended up with parts I wanted for free after all the rest is sold. So... it depends. Good luck to you.
My flipping days are over.
