looking around it looks like everyone "adopted" the cannondale hollowgram 30mm spline "standard". I can't find good information on if they are actually interchangeable. I am not looking for a specific solution, just curious about peoples experience with this and if anyone has mixed and matched parts.

so far it looks like SRAM BB30, Cannondale, Easton, Race Face, White Industries are relatively similar. I know that some require different lengths and some are permanently pressed on one side. Just wondering if the splines are actually the same.

Someone did this on weightweenies. https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=150420

Looks possible, but viability depends on (1) the width of the BB shell it is going into, (2) if the change in Q factor is a problem, and (3) finding the right spacers to get it centered provided 1 and 2 are OK.

IIRC - stages also made some "conversion spindles" to get their carbon FSA BB386 arm to mate with Sram BB30 cranks and needed 3 different versions to span road and MTB offerings. Suggests it's not totally plug and play but not impossible either.
