I need some new cassettes and these can be had super cheap. Has anybody used them?

I've use Veloce, which is close. I got mine on sale for $50 from PBK with free shipping. Their prices tend to change daily. You sure can't beat that price IMO.

$45 from bike tires direct. It looks like the cogs are galvanized versus nickel plated for the higher groupos. Any down side to the cogset? I'm inclined to try one for the price.

What is PBK?

sounds like you didn't pay full price then. that's good. Those things cost so much I wouldn't want to ride one. I'd keep thinking about the cost per crank revolution. now if you want to trade for something.....

I could use one of those. I have a 13-29 on one of my winter wheels and its getting pretty beat. What is its condition? How much?

I've got a 9-speed Mirage cluster on one of my bikes. It's steel so a bit heavier but it works just fine.

P.S. Mirage wasn't 10-speed until this year (2007)...
