Top tube bag with top tube cable

Not a novel idea but I thought I'd post anyway.

Got this top tube bag a while ago. Suits my needs but my rear brake cable got in the way of the velcro straps (or vice versa).

Some left over housing, glue, shrink tube and self fusing tape keeps the cable from binding and the bag firmly in place.

Nice idea. My top tube bag front strap fits in front of the cable stop so I usually just keep the back strap pretty loose. But that can lead to flop when the bag is full. I’ll have to try something like this!

Actually, the difference between my average speed and an outright stop is pretty subtle....
