My google-fu is weak today--I'm not turning up a geo chart with full information, or an online catalog pages for the later series Merckx bikes.

I'm idly dreaming about T-Dot's Corsa-01 that is for sale, and was looking for some information. (I found one geo chart but it is incomplete...)

Thanks!

Corsa 01s had "Century" geometry, same as MX Leader.

Merckx considered their steering/front end geometry "proprietary" and never included it in the geo charts.

Second version below has more info but only even sizes.

I think if you search for Merckx Century geometry, that'll give you the info. Unless it's a custom, but it doesn't seem like it is.

There's one in this thread: https://forums.roadbikereview.com/merckx/mxl-geometry-specs-126212.html

And it’s a sweet riding bike, too!

Have owned 4 of them - sweet ride. If you're looking for details happy to discuss at length!

in my experience, that blanket-statement is *not* true. i had a 60cm corsa-01 and it's STA was consistent with non-century geometry.

when my SLR saddle was positioned with my preferred 9cm of setback it ended up in the same position on the rails as i'd find on my colnagos.

if the corsa-01 had slack century geometry, the saddle would have been slid ~1cm forward on the rails and i would have needed a 14cm stem!

But of course the Corsa 01 (Deda Zero Uno) and Corsa (Strada) OS (Columbus Thron) are not the same thing. Your picture is not a Corsa 01.

so simply changing tubing supplier... they revamped the geometry as well?! It was a long time ago, I guess it's possible...

fwiw....geometrically (diameter, thickness) the 01 and thron tubesets used were identical and functionally interchangeable. the above pictured hike had the cracked thron DT replaced with a deda 01 equivalent.

The Corsa 01 is a totally different bike.

The Corsa 01 is a totally different bike.

same fastback seatstay attachment, same seat-lug, same internal TT cable routing, same OS tubing dimensions, same chrome, same low-rake fork geo, even available in the same GAN colorway, same, same, same... ;-)

I'll give ya my Merckx Corsa 01 story. Got a 'blem' from Gita..an older, never used Corsa 01 frame that had a big rub mark on the down tube..rubbed all the paint away, not dented. They sold it to me for a GREAT price.
So, sent it off the Richard Schwinn at Waterford for a re-spray. With any frame they strip and paint, they put it on a frame table to check alignment. Suffice to say, this frame wasn't straight..at all. Headtube and seat tube not in plane. Twisted. So, they get out the mongo frame bending bars and proceed to tweak straight..in doing so, the down tube popped out of the head tube lug..

Very poor mitering, very poor fill of the head tube lug/down tube. Off it went back to Gita..they had it fixed, back to me..Checked again at Waterford(VERY straight), painted a beautiful Ferrari red, 'Bubble decals'..gorgeous..

sold it..:)

I can't speak to the OP's question of geo, but I would tell him to buy it.

Never had my frame (which is ironically also from T-Dot) checked for alignment, but can say after several long rides it is one of the best riding frames I've ever owned and it descends on rails, and I mean rails.
