So I'm spending my time wisely watching Survivor in CBS. During a Etsy ad promoting craftsman I see a quick shot of a middle aged guy holding a golden color bicycle frame in his lap and looking like he is peeling a mask off of the paint. I don't recognize him if he is a real builder/painter and not just an actor playing one on TV. Anyone know who he might be?

iSpot.tv has some of the commercials. If you can identify the commercial, it might be easier for the rest of us.

Here is an article in AdAge talking about how Etsy is changing its advertising approach. The shot of the guy working on a bicycle frame comes about 4 seconds into the 30 second ad:

My wife works at Etsy, I could ask her to see if she knows or could find out.

Interesting, thanks! No wonder I didn't recognize him because he is from New Zealand.
