Specialized Hover Expert handlebar question

I believe some of you already use this handlebar, and might be able to answer a quick question. I can't tell from the photo on the website, but are the tops of the bar ovalized, or completely round? I like a nice flatter surface to rest my palms when I am riding on the tops, so I wanted to check before I buy.

I have the aluminum version. The top is ovalized.

Is it ovalized to the point a non removable face stem is out of the range of working with them?

I have these ‘bars on one bike as well.
While I can’t answer your question definitively, I think the problem may be in negotiating the sharp bends in the handlebar rather than just the tubing being ovalized.

I wondered about that too, as my clamp is devoid of the bend oval cutout underneath. But I can open it up a decent amount with the bolts out.
