Well UPS found my missing Moots Rigormootis frame, so unless they lose it again, it should be here on Friday! I do not plan on getting a Moots seatpost, stem, or bars. I was originally going to go with black parts, but now I'm thinking maybe silver would look good. Help me decide. Which should I go with:

Black Thomson seatpost, black King headset, black Thomson stem
- or -
Silver Thomson seatpost, silver King headset, silver Thomson stem (or maybe silver Race Face stem)

I am leaning towards Mavic Crossmax SL wheels (silver) and Race Face cranks (silver or black). The handlebars will be black, and I'll probably go with a Fox F80RL fork (silver).

As the first voter, I declare that it's unanimous. Black, baby. Stem's gotta match the bar, atmo.

I'm partial to silver....my Legend has a Thomson stem and silver CK headset...my seatpost is an older Record Ti post.

I just picked up a Moots Vamoots road bike...frame-fork-headset from a local Forumite...

I sent it back to Moots for a complete refinish. When it comes back it will have a black Thomson stem (130-jerk approved) a black FSA seatpost and a black (part of the deal) CK headset.

Should look super sexy! Same geo's as my Kirk, so I know it will be right in the comfort and handling groove. Gonna put on D/A Triple 10 speed as I will use it for an all around bike.

Enjoy!

Steve

My Ti Max has plain white Serotta stickers like the Moots. I think it looks better with the black stem, post and HS versus the bike pictured above.

have fun choozin.

I voted black but, either will look excellent. Decisions where you can't go wrong are always nice.

Joe, throw a photo up for her, that will help her out. Preps Ti Max is pretty tough to beat in the hott bike contest!

Actually, I am not a guy. Maybe I should have mentioned that I am a female rider. I wonder if that has any effect on whether you guys think I should go with black or silver???

On a bike like this the seatpost looks like an integral part of the frame. I think it should match the rest of the frame...

I'm going to have to agree with Louis.

Throw a little color on with the CK Headset - maybe the Pink one, the Red and Dark blue also looks great!

Otherwise, black!

It is dark out, so I had to use the back of the garage door.

JCKID - I think the Moots would look pretty similiar to this photo if you choose the all black bits. I'm sure silver would look cool too. ;)

My Vamoots is all gray.

My Psychlo is all black.

Both work.

Pick a hot CK headset and go either way.
