Do any of you guys know of an aftermarket cassette lockring that has a longer threaded section than the standard one that comes with a shimano cassette?

Maybe a deeper inset free hub bearing also, I don't know Eric sounds self destructive.

Oh.... the conversion cassettes from shimano to campagnolo, those come with a longer neck. The last 2 cogs are line in the air, so the lockring neck is longer.

I think Surly lockrings have a longer threaded section - I might have one if you want me to dig around. Bombproof, like all Surly stuff...
