Nala seems to be an unusual cat. Most cats I've known wouldn't be enthused about spending hours bouncing around on a bike.

Love that. Ended up with a Pekingese that way. Stopped to pet a stray puppy, couldn't stand it when he ran after my bike as I tried to leave. He was in the family 13 years.

Not quite the same, but years ago, went shopping for a suitcase and came home with a dog from the animal rescue next door. We locked eyes and that was that. Best dog I ever had by far.
