Have two bikes with DA 7800 10 speed group sets. Need to replace the chainrings on one bike for sure and maybe the other. In my spare parts I have a pair of TA Specialites 9 speed unused chainrings. Would these be compatible with the 7800 drive train. Bought them when 9 speed was the standard. The TAs are not in my current location so cannot measure teeth thickness with calipers. Thanks

I've used 9 speed TA rings with Sram 10 speed. No issues.

I'm using TA chainrings on a 10 speed Shimano triple and an 11 speed Shimano double with no issues. They are marked Zephyr 9/10 speed. FWIW, both on old Sugino AT cranks 110/74.

They will work fine. The CR didn't really get thinner, just offset a wee bit, particularly the small but the differences are minor. 'May' need to adjust the front der..make sure the front der cable is TIGHT' and the inner cage is pretty close to chain when in lowest gear(small ring, biggest cog)so you get sufficient travel when going to big ring and no rubbing.
